It is. I hope they never make this into a live action movie. ( Although I like the manga better than the anime movie because the major is really funny.)

Lucky for both of us I doubt the live action one will happen. Hollywood has a special way of screwing these sorts of things up. I'd be shocked if they put out a live action of ANY anime in the next ten years (Speed Racer notwithstanding).

Never read much of the manga, but now I'll have to check it out.
